According to a recent Qualtrics research, 80% of employees searching for a new job stated it was critical that their future employment to allow them to stay wherever. Employers are listening as well. Many organizations, like Lift, Airbnb, and 3M, are transitioning to permanent flexible work arrangements now that workers want to continue working remotely. Another example is Spotify, which promotes the concept that "job isn't something you go, it's something you do." Its work-from-anywhere approach allows people to work where and how they choose within specified geographic boundaries. For example, if a position is headquartered in Sweden, the individual may be able to work remotely throughout Europe.
